Lalique Glass

Posted: 26-08-2019

Founded over a century ago, in 1888, Lalique has endured as the ultimate symbol of French luxury.
René Lalique produced some remarkable jewellery designs, notably through the Art Nouveau movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Not long after this period, he turned his ideas to glassware and soon René Lalique went from master jeweller to Art Deco master glassmaker.
After his death in 1945, the company has continued with producing high quality pieces of jewellery, perfume and of course glass and crystal.
We are lucky enough to have three examples of Lalique glass for sale in our Leigh on Sea Branch.

The first is a vase made from clear and frosted crystal which takes the form of a foliate bowl supported by three jaguar heads.
The list price for this item is approximately £6,000. We have it priced for £3,150 and is supplied with an original Lalique box.

The second Lalique piece is an Ichor crystal Vase. This has a list price of approximately £4,500. We have priced this beautiful piece at £1,400 and is supplied with an original Lalique box.

The final piece of Lalique is a pair of Riverie book ends which show female form in a relaxed state.
These have an approximate list price of £3,100, whilst we have them priced as £1,950 and is supplied with an original box.
